Rio Olympics 2016: Sir Bradley Wiggins joined by Sir Chris Hoy and Team GB pals as he enjoys night on the tiles

HE’S one of Britain’s most decorated athletes.
But Sir Bradley Wiggins has also proven to be a dab hand at organising parties if this Instagram picture is anything to go by.
The cycling legend claimed his fifth Olympic gold when he finished first in the team pursuit with a world record time.
Wiggins now has eight medals to his name, one more than Sir Chris Hoy, and treated himself to a night on the town with some of his Team GB pals.
Posting the caption, ‘How many Gold medals in this picture?’, Wiggins can be seen sharing a stage with stars including Hoy, Chris Boardman, Owain Doull and Philip Hindes.

Clearly enjoying themselves, the stars all struck a pose for the camera, with TV present Clare Balding also present.
And Wiggins appeared to be staying true to his word as he swigged from a glass of wine after admitting he would be ‘hungover’ after his triumph in Rio.
He said: “It was gold or nothing. I’ll be hungover tomorrow. I’m trying to soak it all up. It was a horrible race to be in. It’s over in a flash.
“It’s a relief. 18 months ago there were doubts about whether I could come back and do this.
“[Retirement?] My kids needs a proper dad in their lives. My wife needs a proper husband. I wanted to go out on top, and it was one of the best finals ever. Hats off to the Australians.
“I’m not doing Tokyo 2020. I’m happy and content with everything I’ve achieved.”
