USAIN BOLT'S record-breaking third Olympics 100m gold in Rio sparked scenes of celebration... 3,600 miles away in Jamaica.
The sprint superstar eased home ahead of America's Justin Gatlin to become the first athlete to win three in a row in the same event.
And the street party back home in Kingston kicked into action once his 9.81 victory became a part of history.
Fans lined the streets to watch the action unfold live on a giant screen in the heart of the Jamaican capital.
And they erupted in pure ecstasy as the greatest sprinter the world has ever known edged another medal closer to sporting immortality.
Those scenes of joy were replicated in Rio and inside the Olympic Stadium itself as Bolt celebrated with fans.
And one even carried round a massive Bolt doll - as if the real thing did not defy reality enough.
Bolt has the 200m and 4x100m races to come and said: "Two more to go and I can become immortal."
