Rio Olympics 2016: Usain Bolt reveals he will only run the 100m in next year’s World Championships in London as age catches up with him
Jamaican superstar with world records in 100m and 200m will ditch the longer race because it's 'rougher' doing double
USAIN BOLT has revealed he will run in just the 100m in next year's World Championships in London.
The Jamaican superstar, 29, going for a double in the 100m and 200m in Rio has finally admitted age has caught up with him.
Bolt, who holds world records in both events and has won the past four 200m races in the worlds, admitted doing the double gets "rougher" as you get older.
He said: "It's a fact the older you get, the rougher it gets to double.
"Next year if I go to the World Championships [in London] I'm not going to double. I'm going to do the 100m and that is it."
