ENGLISH rugby league star George Burgess will be quizzed by Aussie cops over alleged sexual touching of a woman.
A female made an allegation to police in Sydney last week.
The allegation came just as the 29-year-old began a new National Rugby League season with St George Illawarra Dragons.
Police say an investigation is ongoing after the alleged incident on Tuesday 8 March.
A New South Wales Police statement said: "Earlier this month officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command commenced an investigation into reports a woman was sexually touched by a man known to her on Tuesday 8th March.
“Those inquiries are continuing.”
