Wimbledon 2016: Roger Federer sets up clash with English hero Marcus Willis after seeing off Guido Pella

Seven-time SW19 champion looked rusty on Grand Slam return and will face partisan crowd on Wednesday

ROGER FEDERER set up a fairytale second round tie with Marcus Willis after seeing off Guido Pella.

The seven-time Wimbo champ, 34, looked rusty as he only once broke a player who has never won on grass at tour level to go through 7-6 7-6 6-3.

But he got the job done as the Swiss legend continues his bid to be the first man in history to win SW19 titles.

Federer took the first set on a tie-break 7-5 and repeated the process in the second, this time 6-3, as he did what was necessary to grind the win.
