WWE superstar John Cena confirms his comeback date after being sidelined by damaged shoulder
The 15-time world champion returns to the ring on Raw in May after five month lay-off which saw him miss Wrestlemania 32
JOHN CENA has announced his long-awaited WWE return after injury.
The 15-time world champion was initially ruled out for six-to-nine months after damaging in his shoulder, forcing him to miss out on the Royal Rumble event and a match at Wrestlemania 32 earlier this year.
Much-maligned Cena, however, is known for his quick recovery time and he will make his comeback after only five months on the sidelines on Raw next month.
It has been confirmed that the 39-year-old will be returning to TV screens on May 30.
The news comes as a huge boost to WWE officials after number of injuries to the company’s star men in recent months.
Seth Rollins, who had to give up the world championship after tearing his ACL, and former champ Randy Orton have been two of the superstars forced out of action.
