Samoa Joe discusses the possibility of his close friend CM Punk returning to WWE to face him
Raw's latest superstar refuses to rule out UFC fighter making an in-ring comeback
SAMOA JOE says it’s “not impossible” that he could face close friend CM Punk inside a WWE ring in the future.
The bad blood between the now UFC fighter Punk and the wrestling organisation is well-documented.

Meanwhile, his buddy Joe has enjoyed a fine run in WWE, becoming a multiple champion on NXT before bursting onto the scene on RAW a fortnight ago.

He said: “It’s funny. The thing about wrestling is that nothing is ever impossible. So, you never know. You might see us united back in the ring, someday. We’ll see.”
Those comments have led to excitement among wrestling fans, who believe that he could quite easily have shot down those rumours.
Joe also revealed Punk’s reaction to him joining his former employers.
He added: “When I came here, I remember…for years he was kind of championing my cause to be in the WWE and to see me now, he’s like ‘Oh, of course, the minute I’m gone, you’re here.’
“And so, between me and him, it’s always been a very interesting relationship, we’re kind of like brothers who fight all the time.”
Samoa Joe will take on Sami Zayn at the WWE FastLane on Sunday March 5 in his first pay-per-view appearance since joining the main roster.
