WWE superstar Paige’s husband Alberto Del Rio investigated by Orlando police over alleged domestic violence incident as Brit explains incident on Twitter
British WWE star and her partner claim they got the cops involved after an incident at a Florida airport where a woman allegedly threw a drink at her
POLICE have investigated the husband of British WWE star Paige after he was accused of domestic violence.
Alberto del Rio, 40, is being looked into by Florida cops over an alleged incident, but Paige was keen to play it down on Twitter, claiming her husband had an altercation after a woman threw a drink over him.
According to TMZ, Orlando Police Department were contacted around 3pm on Sunday after an altercation with a woman in an airport terminal.
One witness confirmed: "There was an altercation."
Apparently Del Rio was arguing with a woman, who Paige later claimed had thrown a drink at her husband.
The Mexican, whose real name is Jose Alberto Rodriguez, was not charged or arrested.
Paige tweeted: "WE got the cops involved. I'm crying cuz I found out bad fam news & a lady tries [to] take a pic. She gets angry and throws a drink on @PrideofMexico.
"Please leave us alone. That's it."
WWE superstar Paige also confirmed her uncle Stanley is in hospital, but did not say what was afflicting her relative.
She added on Twitter: "Send all the love and prayers to my uncle Stanley. He needs it right now.
"Love you with everything I have Stan... he's the strongest SOB."
Last month it was claimed that the couple had a bust up on holiday in Florida and had split.
But it appears they soon patched things up, as Paige posted several photos of the couple looking happy.
Paige was caught in a sex tape storm earlier this year along with other UFC and WWE stars.
