The memory management issue was annoying users because they couldn't easily flick between apps without having to reload them.

Luckily the new update will bring multi-tasking back to your iPhone.

Other update repairs include a fix for a problem that was causing iPhone users to lose phone signal following a call.

It should also eliminate an issue that was preventing some iPhone users from accessing mobile data.

This comes after some users had been complaining that they couldn't maintain a data connection of their iPhone despite full bars showing on their screen.

The update will also fix and issue that was preventing the reading of replies to S/MIME encrypted email messages from Microsoft Exchange email accounts.

iPadOS 13.2.2 doesn't include the fixes for the cellular or mobile data bugs.

To get the update you need to go to "Settings" and then click "General" followed by "Software update".

Then click "Download and Install".

Apple previously released iOS 13.1.1 back in September to fix battery life problems that a lot of people had been reporting.
