A NEW smartphone app that turns your photos into works of art is now free on iPhone and Android.
Adobe's Photoshop Camera app adds creative filters to your snaps using artificial intelligence to give them a fun, artsy twist.
One filter identifies the sky and changes it into a cartoon-ish background, while another makes you look like you're in a comic book.
The app is now ready to download from and the .
"Adobe Photoshop Camera is a free, intelligent camera app that lets you add the best filters and effects for your photos – before you even take the shot," Adobe writes in the app's description.
"Show off your unique style with tons of Insta-worthy lenses and filters inspired by your favorite artists and influencers."
The app is designed to give you photos with the look and feel of a Photoshopped image without the need for Photoshop skills.
Photoshop's software is used by loads of professional photographers to polish up their photos, but is too pricey for the average Instagram addict.
To use Photoshop Camera, download it onto your smartphone.
Note that only a handful of Android gadgets support the app, notably the latest Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and OnePlus phones.
Once downloaded, open up the app and sign up with an Adobe ID.
Tap the button the the left of the shutter icon to pick a lens. You can swipe left for different versions.
Tap the button on the right to add effects to photos you've already taken.
The app is clever enough that it can scan you photo for objects or scenes, such as a person or the sky, and suggest suitable filters.
