an image of the impending Fortnite Dune loading screen on Twitter.
It shows off a sandy biome, Timothée Chalamet's character Paul Atreides, and Zendaya's Chani.
An ornithopter is on the sand next to them, but what's that in the background?
A giant googly-eyed sandworm that has the Twitterverse in stitches.
Goofy sandworm aside, it looks like the store will be getting:
- Chani skin
- Paul Atreides skin
- Chani's satchel
- Fremkit
- Ornithopter
- Maker Hooks
- Sand walk emote
- Twinblades
- The Stickworm
Hypex also gave us a preview of the Dune bundles in the Fortnite item shop, which you can check out below.
The price is a place-holder, but it looks like you can opt fort a gear and emote bundble, or a skins bundle.
Interestingly, dataminers speculated about an ancient Egypt update not too long ago.
The theory was based on sandy environments and loading screens discovered in update files.
That makes a lot more sense in light of this Dune-related discovery.
Given that the film is coming out this Thursday, it can't be too long before these items go live, so keep an eye out for an official announcement.
