Call of Duty is getting overhauled this week with the rollout of Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season One content.
Call of Duty fans are heading to the Pacific with the new Caldera map, which replaces Verdansk.

The old map bid its farewell in the Last Hours of Verdansk event, and now it's straight into the Pacific Caldera map.

The new Warzone Pacific map was initially set to launch on last week, but players were informed of the delay by the .
Caldera now goes live on Thursday, December 9, but Call of Duty: Vanguard owners got early access yesterday.
The new Caldera map is set in the Pacific and is roughly the same size as Verdansk, with more than 200 points of interest for players to explore.

You'll be waging warfare on beaches, in forests, and small river settlements, while a dormant volcano sits in the centre towering over the terrain.
Players will also have access to new vehicles including AA trucks and even propeller aircraft – a first for Warzone.
Ahead of Caldera's launch, a number of special events in Verdansk will play out to gear players up for the new season.
Classic Warzone modes will sit alongside Vanguard specifc playlists with the new season.
Your legacy content isn't going anywhere, and you can use your weapons and vehicles in the new playlists. However, the dedicated Vanguard modes will have their own vehicles .

Season One Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific started on Wednesday, December 8.
It introduces the first Battle Pass (BP) system across Vanguard and Warzone with up to 100 Tiers of items available to unlock.
There's the free BP system and the full, 100 Tier BP, but you can "earn plenty" just through playing the game, says .
Of course, if you want to access all 100 Tiers, you'll need the full BP.
Vanguard Royale
A new Battle Royale experience has been created for Vanguard focusing on:

Vanguard Resurgence
Resurgence has a max player count of 48, is geared around specific POIs on Caldera, and utilises the WWII-era ruleset as Vanguard Royale.
Rebirth Resurgence will come into the playlist rotation on December 16.
Battle Royale
Taking place on Caldera, this is an 'anything goes' Battle Royale experience that is "aligned with with the Verdansk experience".
There have been some tweaks though, with refined circle speeds tailored to the size and topography of Caldera.
Plunder
Built for Caldera, Plunder includes all weapons, vehicles, Operators, killstreaks, new contracts and more from every timeline.

New Gulag
Set in the mines of Caldera, the new Gulag includes an all-new spectator experience for your wiped-out squad to enjoy.
