The outage was global with users experiencing issues in both the US and UK.

According to Apple's page, the tech giant has now resolved server issues with all of its services.

It had previously confirmed outages affecting the App Store, Apple Arcade, Apple Business Manager, Apple Music, iCloud, iTunes, Apple TV and more.

also highlighted issues with other popular apps like Apple Maps, iMessage and Apple Find my iPhone.

The problems seemed to be down to Apple's servers.

Some users received this error message: "A server with a specified hostname could not be found."

If you click on some of the affected services on Apple's System Service page, a message now appears which reads: "Some users were affected.

"Users experienced a problem with this service. We investigated and resolved this issue."

For services like Apple Arcade and iCloud, a new message states: "This service may have been slow or unavailable."

Users seemed particularly concerned about Apple Maps being down.

One frustrated user tweeted: "I’m going to assume that the server for Apple Maps went down because I’m steady trying to put in the address for my next on-site and it’s saying that the server can’t be reached.

"So I guess I will use Waze to get there."

Another wrote: "Apparently iMessage is down cause nobody can send media.. apple? what’s going on".

One more person joked: "How does apple maps go down that is absolutely ridiculous. not more ridiculous than me not learning my way around town without gps but still RIDICULOUS!"

Another user claimed that Apple staff were struggling to do their job due to the systems being down.

Twitter user posted a photo apparently taken today in an Apple Store and wrote: "Apple store systems are down and they’re literally doing everything on paper lol."
