Huge iPhone 14 ‘leak’ reveals massive price rise and first look at NEW features coming this year
APPLE is working on a new smartphone for 2022 – and it could cost $100 more than last year's model.
A popular gadget leaker has posted details of a claimed "iPhone 14 Pro" online.
Apple hasn't confirmed any such phone, and likely won't until September this year.
But will ramp up in quality and quantity in the comings weeks, as Apple prepares for launch.
Apple was recently said to be "ramping up" for iPhone 14 production.
And now gadget leaker on Twitter has posted what they claim are details about the iPhone 14 Pro.

It's impossible to know whether the post is accurate – we won't know for sure until September.
The iPhone 14 Pro is expected to sit alongside the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
It will carry a large 6.06-inch flexible OLED screen with a speedy 120Hz refresh rate (for smooth scrolling and animations), according to the leak.
The display is tipped to have a pin-sharp 2,532 x 1,170-pixel resolution, which works out at 460 pixels per inch.
That's the same pixel density as last year's iPhone 13 Pro.
It's expected to carry an even faster A16 Bionic chip – a given, if previous launches are anything to go by.
The handset is said to carry 6GB of fast LPDDR5 memory, as well as storage options of: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
On the back, we're expecting a triple camera arrangement featuring two 12-megapixel cameras paired with a 48-megapixel shooter.
A pill-shaped notch should interrupt the top of the screen to house a selfie camera and the Face ID scanner.
And the body will reportedly feature a titanium alloy frame.
The entry-level model is mooted as costing $1,099 – exactly $100 more than last year's equivalent model.
Sadly, we won't know if any of this is true until Apple makes a formal announcement later this year.
So when is the iPhone 14 out?
iPhone 14 release date prediction
The big launch event always takes place in September, and generally falls early on in the month – on a Tuesday or Wednesday, typically.
For 2022, we'd expect the event to take place on Tuesday, September 13 or Wednesday, September 14.
That would be followed by iPhone 14 pre-orders on Friday, September 16.
And we'd expect an actual iPhone 14 release date of Friday, September 23.
We'll find out about the Apple event the week before it's due to take place.
Of course, we can't guarantee any of these dates – but they're the most likely.
Apple could also shift the whole pattern a week earlier, hosting an event on September 6 or 7 with a September 16 release date.
But we think the slightly later event is far more likely.
