AS Britons brace for a record breaking heatwave this week it's more important than ever to stay cool.
A red “danger to life” alert is in place over the next 48 hours, with the Met Office predicting temperatures could reach 40C in some places.
And fans are flying off shop shelves - Currys has revealed a massive 300 per cent increase in sales over the last three days compared to the week before.
"Last week we recorded selling over 17k fans, which is a record sale of fans this year," Lara Brittain, appliances Expert for the retailer said.
