Netflix subscribers can slash their bills with NEW trick to save money each month
NETFLIX fans will soon be able to reduce their subscription bill in exchange for watching some adverts - but the idea might not be as bad some fear.
The latest rumours suggest that the streaming giant might not show ads at all for some of its content.
Netflix is working on a new cheaper tier supported by ads in a bid to prevent users from quitting the service.
Almost a million decided to cancel their subscription recently, as people are forced to tighten their belts with the cost of living crisis.
The Stranger Things hitmaker is yet to reveal how much the new plan will cost.
But experts have told The Sun they think it could be as little as £5.49/$7.99 in the UK and US.

Now, a report by claims that the adverts may not appear all the time.
Apparently, Netflix could decide not to show any ads for original films when they're first released and some kids shows.
Some movie makers may not actually allow Netflix to show ads during their stuff at all, so bosses are still trying to flesh out how the new tier will work.
It could be a good cost saving trick for anyone hoping to cut their spending.

Though anyone considering it has been warned there could be another major difference compared to the current three subscription options.
Netflix could also remove the ability to download shows offline on your smartphone and tablet.
It all comes as Netflix desperately tries to turnaround its fortunes, after Disney+ stole its crown as the streamer with the most subscribers.
One idea the firm is considering is a clampdown on passwords being shared with people outside your household.

Account holders could be asked to pay extra if caught.
So far, it's only being tested in five countries including Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic.
