His real name is Mark Edward Fischbach and when he isn’t uploading videos, he is taking care of the clothing company Cloak, which he co-founded with fellow YouTuber Jacksepticeye.
He used to be a co-host of the Unus Annus channel before it stopped existing.
He now co-hosts the Distractible podcast with LordMinion777 and Muyskerm.
He is mostly known for uploading videos of him playing indie and horror games such as Slender: The Eight Pages and Amnesia: The Dark Descent, among others.
He has collaborated with many YouTubers, too, such as PewDiePie, CaptainSparklez, and Game Grumps.
He occasionally also holds live streams to raise money for charity.
During such streams, he plays games and campaigns to collect donations to go to various charities such as Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, and Best Friends Animal Society.

First, fans had to get Distractible to be the top podcast on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify, which would remove Joe Rogan’s podcast from these titles.
Second, his podcast with Tyler Scheid titled Go! My Favorite Sports Team needed to be the number one podcast in the Sports category on Spotify.
Markiplier also said that all earnings from his OnlyFans would be donated to charity.
His requirements were met, and on December 7, 2022, Markiplier “tomorrow” with his Twitter followers.
