“Reinstate former President Trump”, wrote Musk on the original poll, with followers voting “Yes” or “No”.

Trump barely squeaked out the win in the viral vote when 51.8 percent of people decided to bring the MAGA movement leader.

“Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” wrote Musk, which means “the voice of the people is the voice of God,” in Latin.

The poll gained 134million views, according to Musk – an understandable metric coming from the online trickster who continues to attract the attention of the masses with his wild announcements.

After the account was restored, Trump’s follower count skyrocketed as people wait with bated breath to watch what happens next.

The former pres had 88million followers before his account was banned over fears that he was inciting violence during the January 6 Capitol riots.

This led Trump to create Truth Social – an alternative social media application where he freely speaks his mind.

Dedicated to his new project, Trump has previously denied wishing to return to Twitter, but with a third presidential campaign on the horizon, he may be looking to widen his influence.
