People are only just realising a simple Wi-Fi trick that instantly speeds up your internet

A SLUGGISH internet connection can send anyone into a flurry, especially when working from home.

But don’t let the pain of a buffering browser or flashing router light let you overlook the simplest, and often most effective, fix.

But it’s common for us humans to over complicate things by delving into other, more obscure Wi-Fi speed fixes, such as disabling all connected devices or moving signal blocking objects.

As Virgin Media explains, the first thing you should always do is simply turn your router on and off again.

“If your broadband is lagging, our first bit of advice is… to turn your Virgin Media hub off and on again,” the .

So if you’ve noticed your internet speeds becoming sluggish, switch the power button on the back on and off.
