iPhone owners warned favourite Apple apps including Siri will stop working next month – check your handset now
POPULAR apps like Siri and Maps will reportedly stop working on some iPhones next month.
Apple is dropping support for an older version of iOS.
The tech giant hasn't specified which models will be affected, nor an official date.
But an insider claims any iPhone with iOS 11 through iOS 11.2.6 will be hit.
All Apple Services will be no longer work except iCloud, claims on Twitter.
This means you'll have to update your handset's software to continue using things like Siri, Maps, and the App Store itself.

They say that the changes will come into force sometime early in May.
A notification will start to appear on impacted iPhones urging them to update.
The move shouldn't come as too much of a shock given that iOS 11 is no longer supported by Apple as it is.
Most modern iPhones are able to update to a newer version of iOS - it's currently at iOS 16 at the moment.
But for anyone with an iPhone 5 or before that won't be possible.
Apple dropped support for iPhone 5 years ago, meaning you ought to upgrade to a new smartphone if you're still using it.
Without support, Apple experts don't fix any bugs, so your data is at greater risk from hackers.
