Honor Magic5 Pro: design, features and specs

The Honor Magic5 Pro sports an eye-catching look, and under the hood, it comes with an impressive range of features that certainly ups the game of the Magic4 Pro.

The design features a curved, organic silhouette and a rear triple-50MP camera unit that’s housed in a raised, circular face that Honor calls the ‘Eye of the Muse’.

In a phone market that’s saturated with a depressing amount of copycat and uninventive looks, it’s refreshing to see a handset range that’s so unapologetically unique.

The display is a distinctly high calibre: the screen is OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, measures 6.81 inches, and the curved edges look absolutely stunning.

Inside the Magic5 Pro, there’s some serious horsepower: it’s powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which was launched on the market in 2022.

We love the sound of the camera’s AI motion-capture feature, which lets you take pictures in fast-moving scenes (think sports, gigs, dancing) with an added level of clarity. The Magic5 Pro also comes equipped with Honor’s Falcon Capture meaning you can take quick snaps with top precision.

Power-wise, Honor states that the Magic5 Pro’s 5100mAh battery should offer a good 12 hours of life with heavy usage – those are good numbers for a heavyweight device.

It’s available in two colours: black and ‘meadow green.’
