Price comparison sites are a "godsend" when it comes to travel, according to experts at online savings organisation NetVoucherCodes.
They can be a great way to make sure you're getting the most bang for your buck.
But you can still find yourself being ripped off when using them.
So, experts recommend the money-saving trick of booking hotels with a free cancellation policy.
"If you’re booking a hotel room, try and choose one with free cancellation.
"Monitor prices as you will notice that they eventually drop.
"Once you’ve noticed a price drop, cancel your room and re-book!"
Online travel agents are there to sell you a holiday, they don’t create them.
This means they sometimes bump up the prices.
"Don’t settle at the first price you see," they add. "Be thorough and cover all possibilities before booking!"
