Nintendo & PlayStation fans can grab this cosy coffee-loving game – and it’s rated 10/10
I’M always on the lookout for cosy indie games to play, as the latest big action adventure games and shooters are just not for me.
So, when Numskull Games offered me a chance to review a new Coffee Talk double pack I jumped at the chance.
The original Coffee Talk launched back in 2020, but it was flung back into the limelight this year when Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly launched.
Both are rated an incredible 10/10 on Steam, and are very popular with players.
Now both games are available on one disc for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, which feels like the best way to play.
Rather than a straight sequel, Hibiscus and Butterfly feels like an extension of the original game, and they are best experienced played one after the other.
More in Nintendo
If you’ve ever played another indie hit VA-11 HALL-A you’ll get the general gist here.
Customers come to your coffee shop and order drinks that you then make for them while they tell you their stories.
The story changes depending on whether you get their orders right or not, and in Episode 2, also whether you hand out certain items.
The menu at your shop is also pretty eclectic, so the more combinations you try, the more different styles of drinks you can make.

Many of these are based on real drinks from all over the world, and can give you great inspiration for making your own hot drinks at home.
Aside from the quirky stories that each individual customer will tell you, there is an overarching story that is difficult to uncover.
You’ll want to play each episode multiple times in order to get the whole picture, giving it great replayability.
The Coffee Talk double pack is perfect for coffee-loving gamers, not only giving you a good story, but also inspo for your own cosy nights.
Not only this but it will save you money as the double pack costs the same as the two games sold individually.
You can buy the Coffee Talk double pack now for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
