GTA 6 trailer release date announced – fans can’t wait to catch first look at the new Grand Theft Auto

GTA 5 came out over 10 years ago, and fans have been waiting all that time for a sequel.

In February 2022, Rockstar revealed that the sequel GTA 6 was actively in development, but no screenshots or footage were shared.

However, we recently found out that the wait was almost over when Rockstar president Sam Houser confirmed that a trailer was coming soon.

In a statement, he wrote: “We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto.”

We predicted that this meant that the trailer would drop in the first week of December, as The Game Awards airs on December 7.

There are a huge number of new trailers and game announcements at the event and Rockstar has usually avoided it.

For the best amount of publicity, Rockstar would likely have to launch the trailer before the event, which is why we predicted the first week of December.

Well, it turns out that our predictions were correct as the release date and time for the GTA 6 trailer have now been revealed.

Grand Theft Auto’s official Twitter account tweeted out an image of the Rockstar logo with palm trees and a sunset in the background.

It reads: “Trailer 1. Tuesday, December 5, 2023. 9am ET.”

This means that the trailer will go live next Tuesday at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm UK time.

As the first trailer, it will likely not be a long trailer even though the game has already been in development for several years.
