WWE 2K24’s cover star has been revealed – and it’s a fan favourite wrestler
WWE 2K24 will launch in just a few months and fans can’t wait to get more wrestling action.
The latest cover star has just been announced, and they’re a popular fan-favourite athlete.
As revealed via 2K’s social media, WWE 2K24 will be launching on March 8, 2024, roughly a year after the previous release.
After a week of teases, we now know that Cody Rhodes will be the cover star of the upcoming game.
Previously 2K showed a number of vignettes of sports personalities and WWE wrestlers who could all potentially be the cover star.
There were also cryptic messages hinting at new match types that could be added to the upcoming game.

After leaving WWE in 2014, Cody Rhodes made a huge name for himself in promotions like NJPW, and was one of the founding members of AEW.
His return to WWE in 2022, made a huge splash and he has been a fan favourite ever since.
Rhodes was the main event of WrestleMania in 2023, and is one of the frontrunners to headline the Royal Rumble this week.
There is also a pre-order bonus pack focused on the star, including more characters and costumes.

The Nightmare Family Pack contains four playable characters including “Undashing” Cody Rhodes, Stardust, Rhodes’ father Dusty Rhodes, and one of Dusty’s biggest rivals Billy Graham.
The Deluxe Edition will not only feature Rhodes on the cover but some of the most prominent women wrestlers Rhea Riplet and Bianca Blair.
Ripley held the Women’s World Champion title for most of last year and is also a member of the Judgement Day faction.
Belair’s year-long title reign ended last year, but she has remained as popular as ever.
The 40 Years of WrestleMania Special Edition will feature a number of legendary wrestlers, such as Andre the Giant, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan.
WWE 2K24 launches on March 8, 2024, for PC, PS5, PS4 Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
