Facebook is seemingly down across the globe, with thousands of reports in several different countries.

We have contacted Meta for comment as this outage continues to impact users...

What is the problem?

Facebook users currently can't access the social media platform.

When you attempt to access the site, you are instead met with a blank white screen.

90% of reports come from users attempting to access the website, rather than the app.

How to check if Facebook isn’t working

Those who may be experiencing difficulties with Facebook can check other social media apps, such as X, for reports.

If you don’t have a X account – or if it isn’t working,  will tell users when the apps are down or experiencing difficulties.

If it appears the problem may not be widespread, try checking the internet connection on your device or exiting the app before logging back in.

Reports skyrocket as Facebook it with outage

Reports of an outage at Facebook continue to soar this morning.

Over 4,400 have been made in the US alone, as per Downdetector, with hundreds more in other countries.
