After testing various Pokémon to take on Charizard this is the one we recommend.

Azumarill - Level 100

  • Nature - Adamant
  • Ability - Huge Power
  • Item - Shell Bell
  • Tera - Fairy
  • Moves - Amnesia, Light Screen, Belly Drum, Play Rough

Azumarill’s Water/Fairy typing is perfect for this raid as it doesn’t take much damage from Fire- or Dragon-type moves.

It also has Light Screen and Amnesia to make sure it can withstand all of Charizard’s attacks.

Belly Drum means that Azumarill only needs one turn to set up, and then it can hit back for huge amounts of damage with Play Rough.

If you get the strategy right, it should only take a few turns and this special Charizard will be yours.
