Amazon Prime members can grab a brilliant 9/10 game and another six titles completely free in June 2024
AMAZON Prime is giving away a number of free games for PC and in-game items to subscribers each month.
It’s a lesser-known perk of being a subscriber, but often the games offered via Prime Gaming are quite good.
In June 2024, subscribers are getting a classic Star Wars shooter and a 2022 Western action RPG, as a total of seven free games will be up for grabs.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is the old-school shooter from 2005 and not the more modern 2017 reboot.
With a rating of 83 on review aggregator Metacritic, the game was very well received at the time, praised for its story told from the point of view of a veteran Imperial Stormtrooper.
Rated 9/10 on Steam, we also have Weird West, which is more of an immersive sim than an action RPG, but from a top-down perspective.

The game is set in a fictionalised version of the American frontier where supernatural things happen, and you get to play the stories of five different characters.
Amazon will be offering the Definitive Edition of Weird West, which presents the dark fantasy game in 4K at 60fps and includes all updates since the original game’s launch.
The other games coming to Amazon Prime next month include Mythforce, a roguelike adventure inspired by Saturday morning cartoons.
There’s also a 2D metroidvania with Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread, and Everdream Valley, a cozy farming game.

Amazon members will have to keep an eye on Prime Gaming as the games will be launching in two batches this June.

Here’s all seven games, the dates when they’ll become available for free via Amazon Prime and the storefront from which you’ll have to claim them:

To get these games, you will need to log into Prime Gaming with your Amazon account and follow the detailed instructions for each game.
Grabbing most titles is as simple as clicking the ‘Claim’ button, while some will require you to input a redeem code in another digital store or to link your Epic Games Store account to Amazon.
