Xbox Game Pass subscribers grab two free movies thanks to new fan-favourite feature
XBOX has disappointed fans lately with all the changes to its Game Pass subscription.
Xbox raised the price of Game Pass recently, and also discontinued its popular Game Pass for Console subscription.
It replaced Console with Game Pass Standard, which is not only more expensive but doesn’t offer new games.
While Standard does include online play, recently Xbox has not been adding any games to Game Pass Standard.
This month Xbox has added six games for Standard subscribers but has added very little in the preceding months.
While Standard subscribers are still missing out, a new perk has appeared for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

In the US, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can grab two horror classics just in time for Halloween.
It’s unusual for Xbox to include movies as part of its subscription, so fans are excited to grab them.
From the wording, it appears that subscribers who grab the films before Halloween (October 31) will be able to keep them for life.
Both movies can be claimed and watched via the Xbox PC app, Xbox mobile app, and the Game Pass section on your console.

The first movie that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can pick up this month is the original Saw.
While the Saw franchise has become increasingly goofy over the years, the first film is still considered a horror classic.
It begins with two people shackled in a room, and they are told that they must kill the other in order to escape.
Throughout the film, they try to figure out ways to escape without committing murder, as the perpetrator adds in increasingly scary psychological elements.
As the film plays out, you learn more about the pair and how they ended up in the situation, as well as the motivations of the killer.
The second film is the black comedy The Devil’s Rejects, which follows the story of a family on the run.
Cornered by the police after a series of murders, the family tries to outrun the law.
There are only a few weeks where you can pick these games up, so make sure you grab them before the end of the month.
