This war machine would be a world-first due to its power source and modern additions like AI-controlled guns and onboard drones

Rotem, a subsidiary of motor company Hyundai, released its plans for these hi-tech war machines, that would be used by the South Korean army.

The K3 tank would be a game-changer on the battleground due to its modern capabilities.

Firstly, the vehicle would be powered by hydrogen fuel cells, rather than diesel, making it more quiet than its traditional counterparts.

Enemies will also be surprised by the several hidden elements onboard.

Its arsenal includes drones, concealed armour, and the ability to avoid radar detection.

Not only would this tank be hard to find but it would also be difficult to stop.

Its stronger power source also gives the war weapon hill-climbing abilities and even faster acceleration than traditional tanks.

The benefits of these hydrogen powered cells do not end there as the vehicle will have better fuel economy meaning less time can be spent on refilling.

Its onboard arsenal will also include more efficient and modern weapons.

For example, each tank will be fitted with a 130 mm AI-controlled smoothbore main gun.

An official at Hyundai Rotem : “The next-generation tank will have stronger preemptive strike capabilities using an artificial intelligence-based fire control system.”

These machines will even have self-driving abilities.

Hyundai Rotem revealed the extent of the K3’s modern additions.

The company said: “Next-generation main battle tank surpasses all capabilities of today’s MBTs, providing more efficient mission employment with the latest technologies for future warfare.”

Hyundai Rotem also shared why they felt this piece of war tech needed to be built.

The company said: “As battlefield conditions change, more changes are required to MBT’s firepower, command and control, and survivability to be more optimized and to create maximum combat synergy.”

It added: “Hyundai Rotem will proactively prepare for future warfare by developing next-generation main battle tanks capable of supplementing combatant’s capabilities and function replacements.

“Peacekeeping is our prioritized goal.”

Hyundai Rotem revealed that the tank could enter production by 2040.
