PC gamers can grab an indie gem from last year for a limited time
EPIC Games Store offers PC players free games every week, and this time an indie classic is up for grabs.
As always,, there’s just one week to pick up the free game, before it’s replaced by different ones.
Epic Games Store is currently giving away Brotato, a roguelike that launched last year.
This is an auto-shooter similar to games like Vampire Survivors, where you upgrade your weapons and walk and aim as your gun automatically fires.
Rounds come in waves, and once you get the hang of things, each run only takes 30 minutes to finish.
If you’re into quick roguelikes like Balatro, then Brotato is a game you should try.

It doesn’t cost a lot to pick up usually but you can still save a little money by grabbing it for free this week.
If you want to pick up Brotato from the Epic Games Store, you have until Thursday, December 5, 2024, in order to do so.
After this the free games will change to Bus Simulator ‘21 and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
These are both great games, so it’s worth coming back next week to download the new games.

If you want to pick up Brotato, you can do so on the store page via the Epic Games Store website or directly via the Epic Games Store Launcher.
The launcher is free to download and you’ll need it if you want to play, so it’s worth picking up.
Potato Power
Brotato is a fun little game, and while you’re not saving too much money, it’s definitely worth getting.
It’s also a great time to download the Epic Games Store Launcher, as Epic usually does an advent calendar event for the holidays.
This is where the Epic Games Store gives away a free game every day in the run up to the holidays, meaning you can build up a massive library for free.
With no strings attached, it’s a great way to save money this holiday season.
