Four Sky channels to disappear TODAY as part of major TV guide shuffle – plus four new codes you need to know
FOUR TV channels are set to disappear from Sky today, as the Christmas season finally comes to a close.
An additional four premium Sky channels, including Sky Drama and Sky Cinema Comedy, have also switched numbers.
So, be sure to check out the new codes to avoid missing your favourite shows.
In the final shuffle to the TV guide in January, Sky has retired four Christmas channels:
- GREAT! xmas (Satellite 319) renames to GREAT! romance
- GREAT! xmas HD (Glass 317) renames to GREAT! romance HD
- GREAT! xmas+1 (320) renames to G! romance+1
- That's Christmas (Satellite 183) renames to That's TV 3
GREAT! Christmas channels relaunch every year, and could return as early as September 2025.

The festive channel caused a stir last year when it returned to screens on 5 September - some 110 days before the big day itself.
It was the earliest GREAT! Christmas has ever launched, having come to screens on September 7 last year and on September 8 the year before that.
On Sunday, channels Christmas24 and Christmas24+ reverted back to their old titles Movies 24 and Movies24+.
Sky also packed up its Sky Christmas channel last week, renaming it to Sky Drama/Sky Drama HD.

Own-brand channels like Sky Drama, Sky Hits, Sky Cinema Comedy and Sky Best of 2024 are also switching channels numbers with each other.
Unless you want to pull up Sky Drama and actually land on Sky Best of 2024 instead, make sure you jot down the following codes:
- Sky Drama (302) moves to 310 on satellite and Glass
- Sky Hits (308) moves to 303 on satellite and Glass
- Sky Cinema Comedy (310) moves to 308 on satellite and Glass
- Sky Best Of 2024 (303) moves to 302 on satellite and Glass
