Monster Hunter fans can grab free rewards in MH Now ahead of next big game’s launch

MONSTER Hunter players will be able to earn free rewards to celebrate the upcoming release of Monster Hunter Wilds.

As the launch of the next main game in the series is fast approaching, Capcom is hosting a crossover event in Monster Hunter Now, the franchise’s mobile game.

The MH Wilds Collab Event I starts February 3, 2025, at 9am local time and will bring limited-time quests for players to complete and earn rewards.

The quests, of course, involve slaying massive monsters in MH Now, and here are the kinds of rewards that players can grab:

• Gift Code for items that can be used in Monster Hunter Wilds
• Exclusive MH Wilds Hoodie layered equipment
• Exclusive MH Wilds Collaboration Guild Card background
• Weapon Refining Parts
• Armor Refining Parts

The Monster Hunter Wilds Gift Code brings a number of items, such as Mega Potions, Dust of Life, and Dash Juice, which players will be able to claim and use when Wilds launches.

PlayStation, Xbox and Steam players can try Monster Hunter Wilds for free

Players got a taste of Monster Hunter Wilds during an open beta test in late October 2024, and the game is having its full release on February 28, 2025.

Completing the special quests in MH Now generates the gift code, which can then be redeemed through your preferred platform’s redeem code screen.

The gift codes work on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

The Monster Hunter Now x Monster Hunter Wilds collaboration event will run until Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:59pm local time.

On top of this, there will be celebratory supply items dropping at four specific times throughout the event.

Make sure you log into Monster Hunter Now to claim each drop at the following times:

• First Supply: Monday, February 3, from 9am local time
• Second Supply: Monday, February 10, from 9am local time
• Third Supply: Monday, February 17, from 9am local time
• Fourth Supply: Monday, February 24, from 9am local time

Each drop contains Potions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts and Item Box Expansion.

There will also be a couple of exclusive limited-time packs to grab, one from the in-game shop and another one from the web store.

Players can claim these from February 3, 2025, at 12am GMT to February 28, 2025, at 11:59pm GMT.

MH Wilds Collab Pack Vol. 1

• Special Carving Knife x 10
• Ultra Hunting Ticket x 10
• Potion x 10
• Paintball x 5

This pack can be grabbed from the in-game shop, while the next one is exclusive to the web store.

• Bonus Gems x 11,000
• Special Carving Knife x 5
• Potion x 20
• Ultra Hunting Ticket x 10
