PC gamers can save big by picking up a 9/10 game completely free for a limited time
THE Epic Games Store advent calendar might be finished, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pick up a new free game every week.
This week Epic has a highly rated puzzle game that users can pick up, which has a 9/10 rating on online storefront Steam.
PC gamers can currently pick up Escape Academy, a puzzle game that can be played in either single-player or co-op both locally and online.
Players have to complete a series of unique puzzles and escape rooms and try to make it out of the academy.
Escape Academy usually costs £15.99 / $19.99, so you’ll save quite a bit of money by picking this one up.
It will be available for free on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, January 24, 2025, when it will be replaced by a different free game.

Next week players can pick up another puzzle game Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery.
This is a cute and cosy game about an artist and her cat, who live together and work to complete her masterpiece.
Behind the Frame will also be available for a week starting from January 24.
You can download Escape Academy now from the store page on the Epic Games Store website, but there is a better way to claim your free game.

The Epic Games Store Launcher is free to download and required in order to play the games that you claim.
You can grab each game directly via the launcher and they will then be added straight to your account.
As Epic Game Store gives away at least one free game every week, this is the perfect chance to build a gaming library on a budget.
If you check back via the launcher every Thursday, there will be a new free game to claim that you can add to your collection.
Once claimed, it’s yours to keep, even after the game returns to full price.
