Fortnite OG Season 2 gets release date with Black Knight skin making a comeback
FORTNITE is gearing up for Season 2 of Fortnite OG, which now has its release date confirmed.
A teaser for the new season in the game’s nostalgia-infused mode gives away a few iconic skins that are surely making a comeback.
Fortnite OG Season 2’s launch date is now set for January 31, 2025, and it will be coming with a new OG Pass with rewards.
As with the inaugural OG season, we expect the new one to bring the Battle Royale to its state during the original Chapter 1 Season 2.
Much like in OG Season 1, there will certainly be remixed versions of some familiar characters from late 2017 and early 2018 when Chapter 1 Season 2 originally ran.

The teaser shows Black Knight, Cuddle Team Leader, and Sparkle Specialist gliding into Tilted Towers.
Tilted Towers is an iconic location first introduced to the Battle Royale map in Chapter 1 Season 2.
All three characters are surely getting remixed variants as rewards in the new OG Pass, coming in less than two weeks.
Cuddle Team Leader and Black Knight are arguably among most popular skins in Fortnite’s history.

Black Knight in particular, is one of the rarest outfits in the game as it was only available to players who had leveled up the first-ever Fortnite Battle Pass to the max level of 70.
The skin’s rarity turns it into a mark of distinction reserved only for the most seasoned Fortnite players.
If OG Season 1 is anything to go by, each OG Pass will feature remixed versions of three iconic Fortnite skins.
During the first OG season, those were Aerial Assault Trooper, Renegade Raider, and Skull Trooper.
While the OG Pass never brings the original versions of the outfits, it's not out of the question for these to also appear at some point.
Fortnite has previously confirmed that any old skin could eventually make its way back via the Item Shop.
During OG Season 1 both Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper were added in their original forms.
Players can purchase them from the Item Shop but only after obtaining a certain amount of XP on top of the price in V-Bucks.
