Nintendo Switch Online adds three new games for free – and one has never been released in the West before
NINTENDO Switch Online members have been eating well, with quite a few games being added to the subscription recently.
The latest three additions have just arrived in the SNES catalogue of Nintendo Switch Online, and one of the games is making its official debut outside of Japan.
Nintendo has added Sutte Hakkun, Fatal Fury 2, and Super Ninja Boy to its Super Nintendo app for Switch Online subscribers.
Sutte Hakkun is a very interesting addition, as the 1997 puzzle action game was published only in Japan and has never been fully localised in English.
You play as the titular character Hakkun, a drinking bird toy made of glass that can absorb and deposit blocks and liquids.
Using its abilities Hakkun must make its way through each level and collect hidden rainbow shards.

The game is provided in its original Japanese version via Switch Online, but it’s very easy to figure out and navigate through the menus even if you don’t know the language.
It also helps that once you get to the levels, all interface elements are in English.
Fatal Fury 2 is a classic 1992 fighting game from SNK and arguably the highlight of this latest batch of SNES titles on Nintendo Switch Online.
The second game in the long-running series added new characters, including Kim Kaphwan and the iconic Mai Shiranui.

With her ninjitsu fighting style and staggering looks, Mai has been a mainstay for the series ever since.
Finally, Super Ninja Boy is a classic action RPG mixing an overworld with random encounters, dungeons, and real-time combat.
All three games are already available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers via the Super Nintendo Entertainment System app.
If you have an active subscription, all you need to do is download the app from the eShop on your Nintendo Switch.
Since these are all SNES games, they are available to members of both tiers of the Nintendo Switch Online service and do not require the more expensive Expansion Pack tier.
