Have images of the Apple iPhone 8 been leaked? Snaps that ‘reveal smartphone’s final design’ divide fans

APPLE fans went into meltdown when "new pictures" of the iPhone design were leaked online yesterday evening.

But it's been claimed the latest pictures claiming to be the iPhone 8 (which you can see in the tweets below) show a previous mock-up released just weeks ago.

Yesterday, technology website BGR claimed to reveal "the world’s first look at Apple’s final iPhone 8 design in real life".

But it was later claimed the images were the work of a graphic designer Benjamin Geskin, who claimed to have been handed pictures from Apple manufacturer Foxconn, which showed what the iPhone might look.

Geskin took to Twitter to claim the pics showed the same "dummy model" he showed off one month ago.

It's not clear whether the pictures are legitimate or not, or if Apple has even decided on its final design.

But the new photos reflect the current speculation about what's to come with the next Apple release.

Gossips have previously claimed the iPhone 8 will be a huge update which will feature a cool OLED infinity screen.

Rumours are still swirling over new features like a 3D camera, an infinity screen to rival the Samsung S8 and free AirPods for every buyer.
