Golden Joystick Awards 2017: How to watch this year’s ceremony and your chance to win a top gaming laptop

Gaming's elite from across the industry will be lauded for their work this year at the lavish bash in Central London

IT'S the 35h annual Golden Joystick Awards this coming Friday and The Sun has all the details on how you can keep up-to-date with all the action.

But if you cannot make it down to the Bloomsbury Big Top, you can watch it live on from 3.15pm on Friday 17 November.

Voting is now closed for the awards, with millions cast over the last six weeks on who you want to win big at the GJAs.

The pre-show will be hosted by Kotaku UK editor Keza MacDonald along with comedian and journalist Ellie Gibson.

The pair will be joined throughout the event by a host of famous faces from across the gaming world to discuss all the talking points.

They will also be giving away an OMEN by HP gaming laptop and Intel Core i7 processor with MSI Motherboard Bundle.

If that wasn't enough, viewers will also see a Guinness World Records certificate presentation live on air.

The Joysticks themselves will then commence hosted by comedian Danny Wallace, with 21 hotly-contested awards to give away.

Some of the highlights include Indie Game of the Year, Best Multiplayer and Most Wanted Game along with Ultimate Game of the Year and Still Playing.

The Sun themselves will be giving out the Best Gaming Performance award.
