Apple staff share pics of new £3.5 billion HQ that’s closed to the public
Employees are moving into the new Apple Park headquarters, giving us all a chance to see what it's like to work for the world's most valuable company

EARLY photos of Apple's new headquarters are being shared by company staff on Instagram.
Employees have begun moving into the futuristic California HQ – dubbed the "spaceship" – which cost an incredible £3.5 billion to build.
The Apple Park campus began as the brainchild of late Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs, who publicly announced his plans back in 2006.
But Jobs never lived to see his space-age campus, as he died from cancer in 2011.
Construction continued however, and the grandiose Apple Park HQ opened to employees in April 2017 – although construction is ongoing.
The central building is a large, circular four-storey building that houses more than 12,000 employees and offers up an incredible 2,800,000 square feet of space.
Apple Park includes a 100,000-square-foot fitness centre for staff, secure research and development facilities, and the Steve Jobs Theater – a large 1,000 seat auditorium to be used for future product launch events.
The iPhone maker planted more than 9,000 native drought-resistant trees on the site, and added features like an orchard, a meadow, and a pond.
There are also two miles of walking and running paths for employees to boot.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said: "Steve's vision for Apple stretched far beyond his time with us.
