STARTING today, the super-smart Google Lens camera feature will be available on all Android smartphones.
It means you'll be able to use your phone camera to translate foreign-language signs or menus, identify dog breeds, and learn about famous buildings or monuments.
Google Lens has already been available on the Pixel 2 smartphone for a few months, but now it's finally available to everyone.
"Rolling out today, Android users can try Google Lens to do things like create a contact from a business card or get more info about a famous landmark," explained Google, in a tweet.
It uses Google's huge wealth of data to identify information in your photograph, and then provide useful information.
So if you're reading a Spanish menu, Google Lens could translate the text into the English language.
And if you've taken a photo of a dog, you can use Google Lens to find out the breed.
Or maybe you've taken a great photo of a city, and want to know what the building you're looking at is. Google Lens will be able to tell you.
To use Google Lens, you'll need to make sure you have the latest version of the Google Photos app for Android.

The update is still rolling out, so you might not be able to download it immediately.
Once you've downloaded the app, you'll need to take a photo – just use your normal camera app.
Then, go into the Google Photos app and find the image.
Tap on the Google Lens icon, which looks like a small square camera.
Depending on the photo, you'll be able to check up on details about the photo, or take an option.
For instance, if you've snapped a business card, you'll be able to upload the person's details directly into your contacts.
Sadly, the feature isn't available on iPhone just yet.
