Spider-Man, Assassin’s Creed and Spyro get MASSIVE discounts in PlayStation Christmas sale

45 per cent knocked off Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Marvel's Spider-Man, with 20 per cent off Spyro - but only until Monday

PLAYSTATION have thrown open the doors to a surprise pre-Christmas sale in their online store.

From now until Monday, you can get some of the biggest games from the past couple of months at a significant discount, and ensure you keep yourself entertained over the festive period.

Headlining the bunch is the utterly superb Marvel's Spider-Man, which has had 45 per cent knocked off, and is now just £29.99.

You can also get the Digital Deluxe edition for £36.74 -- and the extra £6.75 gets you all three DLC story chapters and suits, which normally sells for £6.49 each or £15.99 bundled together.

That includes the Black Cat focused The Heist, Hammerhead-led Turf Wars and the upcoming Silver Sable chapter Silver lining that comes with a suit from the just-released Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse.

The enormous Assassin's Creed Odyssey is also 45 per cent off .

The huge story that sends you island hopping and fighting historical figures and mythical beasts in Ancient Greece is sure to keep you busy for any downtime you might have across the festive period when you're not saving New York and webbing foes to buildings.

Other highlights include Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which is 20 per cent off its original budget price of £34.99, .

A remastered version of the first three Spyro the Dragon games, Reignited is a great family-friendly game that will delight kids as much as those who were kids when it first came out.
