It then asks if the phone is in working order or faulty and what network it is on.
It also asks for the devices IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number which is a 15 digit serial number unique to each and every phone.
Normally this is found on the back of the phone or in the sim tray but it can also be displayed on the screen by typing *#06# into the keypad.

eBay
The global marketplace is a great place to sell your phone, or anything else, as long as you keep your wits about you.
You can easily set up a user account, and then it is easiest to post a listing for your phone from the app rather than a desktop.
Using the app you can take photos and fill in the description and all the other fields easily, as well as monitor your bids and reply to any questions.
The only downside being the fees eBay will charge you for selling on it.
Gumtree
Gumtree is a well-established online marketplace similar to eBay.
It is similar in the way you categorise and regionalise listings to sell to people in your area, but doesn’t have a delivery service meaning you have to arrange a time for your buyer to collect.
