GEARBOX has FINALLY revealed that Borderlands 3 is on the way.
It's got new Vault Hunters, new enemies, and over a BILLION guns.
A couple of trailers have shown off the world and what to expect in it.
There is also a full gameplay reveal scheduled for next week, when a bunch more videos are promised alongside more live streams than you can shake a boomstick at.
Expect to be shooting your way through swamps, desert and cities to name a few -- with everything from mechs to ATKs to roll around in.
Oh, and there's the small matter of over a billion guns to play with thanks to the random-generation system.
What we've played of it so far makes it look like it's going to be a barrel-load of fun.
More information is promised at E3 in Los Angeles next month, when Gearbox will be showing off another Vault Hunter, a new world, and much more.
Borderlands 3 is going to be released on September 13.
On PC at launch it's going to be exclusively available from the Epic Store.
It's going to arrive in three flavours - Standard (£54.99), Deluxe (£74.99) and Super Deluxe (£89.99).
There is also a Diamond Loot Chest Collector's Edition (£239.99) which is essentially all the digital content from the Super Deluxe version as well as "a swag-splosion of collectibles digistructed straight from the worlds of Borderlands 3."
The Deluxe edition comes with a host of cosmetic upgrades, as well as "XP & Loot Drop Boost Mods".
The Super Deluxe comes with more digital gewgaws--including the evocatively named Butt Stallion weapon skin, trinket and grenade mod--and a season pass that gives you access to four story-driven DLC packs. It also comes in a fancy steelcase.
Finally, the Diamond Loot Chest includes all of the above, plus (according to 2K):
If you want the Super Deluxe or Collector's Edition, -- but thanks to QuidCo, that also means you can save £15 and .
£15 will be credited to your Quidco account shortly afterpurchase , which you’re free to withdraw back into your bank account or spend how you please.

The ridiculous number of weapons available through the game's procedural generation system has got even more ridiculous.
Trailers have promised literally billions of possible weapons, and we know some of them are going to be utterly absurd.
Expect "rifles that spawn fire-spewing volcanoes" and "guns that grow legs and then chase down enemies while verbally abusing them".
The four new Vault Hunters are Moze, Amara, Zane and Fl4k.
Moze has a summonable battle mech, Amara can pummel enemies with her ethereal fists, Zane's causes chaos with an array of gadgets, while Fl4k is accompanied by a variety of battle-hardened pets.
As ever, co-op is going to play a huge role.
There will be online and couch co-op options available -- and unlike previous Borderlands games, everyone will get their own loot drops, unless everyone in the group chooses to revert to the rules from Borderlands 2.
