Facebook goes DOWN – UK users unable to access the site for hours
BRITS had to contend with another Facebook outage on Wednesday.
The social media site appeared to be down across Europe with users complaining they couldn't login.
People in the UK, Spain, Greece, Germany and Italy reported issues from 3pm. The problem appeared to be fixed by Thursday morning.
According to the website , which tracks website outages, as many as 200 people reported problems with Facebook.
One wrote: "I cant log in, said i was hacked but no evidence. Had to reset password 3x. Now it wont even load..help?"
Another claimed: "Nothing loading not even comments!"
Facebook has yet to comment on the issue.
We've reached out to the tech titan, and will update this story when we know more.
It's not the first time Facebook has had issues in recent months.
Last month, users were hit by a string of three outages in a single week.
Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, also experienced issues.
