Nintendo Switch is adding a N64 classic to its library and you can grab it for free

Nintendo's service is improving by the week

NINTENDO Switch Online is one of the best value gaming subscription services on the market.

Not only is it the lowest price out of the big three, but it never removes games, only adds them.

Nintendo Switch Online is so cheap that a whole year subscription costs the same as a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

By adding more games to the service every month and not raising the subscription price, players get better value the longer it continues.

Nintendo recently announced that it would be adding one of the most popular games from the Nintendo 64 era to Nintendo Switch Online.

As an N64 game, it will be added to the higher tier of Nintendo’s subscription service, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

More in Nintendo

There are more than 100 additional games as part of the Expansion Pack service, including 35 N64 games.

One of the games that is part of this library is Banjo-Kazooie, one of the most iconic games from the console.

However, the sequel which was just as popular as the original, has been absent for a long time.

Nintendo has just announced that the sequel Banjo-Tooie will soon be available on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass.

Banjo-Tooie was originally released in 2000 and immediately became a must-buy for the console.

It features 3D platforming stages where you collect goodies while swapping between the two characters.

Banjo, the bear, is larger and more adept at breaking things, while Kazooie, the bird, is faster and can fly.

Both characters are connected to each other, meaning that they can never be separated and are easy to switch between.

Banjo-Tooie will arrive on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass on Friday, October 25, 2024, meaning there is just a week left before you can grab it.

If you want to play it for yourself, you’ll first need to subscribe to the higher tier of Nintendo’s subscription service.

Then you can download the N64 app from the Nintendo eShop, where you can find the N64 library of games.

Select Banjo-Tooie after it is added to the library and you’re ready to go.
