Berlin Lion
On 20 July 2023, officers advised Berlin’s southern residents to avoid leaving their houses and keep pets indoors after it emerged that a suspected lion was loose on the streets of the capital. Officials have checked zoos and circuses, but all lions were accounted for. It was later admitted by Germanauthorities that the lion is probably a boar.
