British Cycling


British Cycling are the governing body of cycling in Great Britain, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. They run the British Olympic team as well as administer competitive cycling in Britain from their headquarters at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester. Prominent riders include Beryl Burton, Tom Simpson, Chris Boardman, Nicole Cooke, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Geraint Thomas, Sir Chris Hoy, Dame Laura Kenny, Dame Sarah Storey and Mark Cavendish. Riders compete as part of Team GB during the Olympic Games.
