The Championship is the second division of the English football pyramid and is part of the English Football League or EFL. The winners of the Championship, as well as the runners up, are automatically promoted to the Premier League. A third team is promoted via the playoffs, with three teams relegated each season. Norwich are the current champions from the 2020-21 season.
