Disney Cruise Line announces new details of its next ship Disney Wish including the princess that will appear on its stern
DISNEY has announced the new princess to feature on their fifth cruise ship, Disney Wish.
Tangled fans will be able to enjoy travelling around with world with a Rapunzel themed exterior.
The princess will be on the stern of the ship, joining Dumbo and Mickey Mouse who feature on Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream, respectively.
Joining Rapunzel will be her sidekick Pascal, with the princess hanging from the ship by her iconic long blond hair.
Images inside the ship show plans for an extravagant chandelier in the main lobby along with a grand staircase.
The new ship will be similar in size to the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream, with 1,250 guest rooms and capacity for 4,000 passengers on the ship.
The ship will also be fuelled by liquefied natural gas, which is seen as the cleanest burning fossil fuel with nearly no emissions.
Disney Wish will be delivered in 2021, and set sail in January 2022.
Reservations for the cruise will open in late 2020.
And while Disney cruisers already get to visit Nassau in the Bahamas on their sailings, the cruise line will soon call at Lighthouse Point on the island of Eleuthera.
Construction on the island is expected to be finished by 2023.
Disney announced a range of exciting new attractions and experiences at their annual D23 Expo earlier this year.
