Disgusting passenger caught drying his socks from the plane window

A PASSENGER has left social media horrified after being caught drying his socks from the plane window.

The anonymous man was shamed on Instagram by many disgusted travellers.

The picture, uploaded to Instagram account , saw the two white socks wedged under the window shutter.

The image was sarcastically captioned: "Me doing my laundry on the way to LA this weekend! #MULTITASKING."

It has since had over 5,000 likes, with many social media users left shocked by his actions.

One person wrote: "I can just imagine the stinky cheese smell from the wet disgusting socks."

Another added: "What is wrong with these people??"

Others said they would never be able to use the windows on a plane again.

A woman added: "I lift those shades many times with my son while flying... next time I will remember the feet juice."

Another person agreed: "Not putting my head up against the window ever again."

Some were more optimistic, saying: "Better the window than hanging from the air vents."

An ex-flight attendant has previously warned guests not to travel without any socks or shoes on - as the bathroom floors are often covered in urine.

It isn't the first time passengers have done their laundry on a plane.

Other horrifying plane incidents include passengers giving themselves a pedicure in the cabin to a man sleeping underneath his seat during the flight.

An anonymous traveller was shamed last month after they left a bag full of wee tied to their seat.
